The kids and I have been busy this summer. Last week, we went on a tour of the Monroe Police Department with the MOMS club.
Charlie didn't like being put in the cell!
Officer Worley had lots of interesting gadgets in his trunk. He even turned on his siren and let the kids sit in the front seat.
We've also been going to the free kids' movies at the local movie theater. Charlie was very good for his first movie theater experience. (It helped having lots of snacks on hand)
On Friday, we went to West Chester's Touch-a-Truck event. It was super hot, but the kids enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of trucks.
A highlight of the day was when the kids got to help put out a fake fire with a fire officer.
What will the rest of the summer hold?
