As I compiled the images for this month's post I realized that we sure did play a lot of games this month. I've always loved playing games which is why I think I married into the right family. It seems to be in the Williams blood.
April started off with a bang with the Williams' Family's favorite contestant, Trent Harmon, won American Idol. We watched the whole season and all of us really liked Trent's soulful singing. While we were watching the finale, I decided to set up the tripod to record our authentic reactions. I could not love this photo more.

Grandma was a big help in putting together an ensemble.
With a little help from youtube, I did Taylor's hair in a victory roll.

Charlie bought this My Monopoly game with his own money. The two of us chose photos and printed them out to create our own properties, game pieces and chance/community chess cards. Then he, Morgan, and I played a game that lasted three days!
Taylor started playing volleyball this spring so she could brush up on her skills before summer sand volleyball starts.
She's still got it!

I love it when all three kids get along on their own for an extended period of time. On this day, they were playing an elaborate game in which they were spies (with ninja skills apparently).
Not all our fun was indoors this month. We have been enjoying the nice weather and taking advantage of our yard, too.
And I've taken advantage of nature's art to create some of my own.
Speaking of art, Morgan is a song writer now. She's written about 3 or 4 songs and loves performing them to anyone who is willing to listen to her 5-6 minute renditions.
Morgan's preschool class went on a field trip to Sharon Woods Heritage Village.
Although I may love watching Taylor practice, I think her brother and sister have seen enough.
We were introduced to a new game this month, gaga ball, when cub scout families from Charlie's den met up to play together. It is incredibly fun for every age level.
I love the morning light in my kitchen this time of year.
I had to pick Charlie up an hour early from school because his eyeballs were reacting to an allergen. Poor little guy.
