September in Photos

Once again, I am almost a month behind on my blog.  (I just finished a long overdue post about my Jewel Encounter so be sure to read that post too.)  Also yet again, I am opting to post more photos than words.  I really strive to let my images tell a story so hopefully they are strong enough to exist without words.  Of course I can't resist a few descriptions....

Willy Tea Taylor at the Southgate House Revival.

Morgan's preschool portraits (I don't trust the school photographer to capture my sweet girl's authentic expressions).

Morgan conceptualized this snack and asked me to gather the ingredients for her.

She then found the directions for a candy corn banner in a magazine and asked if we could make one together.  This little banner set off a chain of events that led to a pretty rockin' Halloween party, but more on that next month.

Taylor may be the smallest on her team but she's amongst the minority that can overhand serve.

Her cousin has a pretty mean serve too!

And this little guy has been impressing us on the soccer field!

Mark and I took our family's Oktoberfest celebration as a perfect excuse to wear the Austrian clothes we had purchased in Europe.

Those crazy Damons:

Taylor didn't go to Oktoberfest because she was busy riding this guy at an AHG horse camp.

I've started a personal project of documenting Morgan's bedhead.  There's no shortage of inspiration.

This was from a huge weed that we let grow in our flower bed just to see what it was.

Charlie scored TWO GOALS at this game!

We had another outing at my aunt Cheryl's house on a Sunday afternoon.

September's total lunar eclipse (also known as a blood moon).

I know those were random, but so was our September.  October's post should come next week!
