hello 2017

This will be a short blog post.  In accordance with our Williams family history, we've been hibernating and taking things slow this winter.  Even my camera has taken a little hiatus.  Also in keeping with our winter traditions we've been playing lots of games.

On this particular family game night, we let the winner of each game dictate which game we'd play next.  After Taylor's victory, she chose Twister.

Morgan chose Disney Headbandz.

We finished the night with Kids Beat Parents card game.  (That name is deceiving because Mark and I totally won!)

Mark and Charlie went to a Cub Scout lock-in at the school.  They played games, ate pizza, and watched movies.  They opted not to sleep on the gym floor though.

Uncle David celebrated his birthday at Top Gold this year.

We had all the cousins over for a sleep over.  These two read their own bedtime story.

AHG held a lock-in at the school.  Taking a cue from the boys, we decided to stay for the activities and head home at bedtime.

We did stay for the movie and popcorn, of course.

It's been a very mild winter with lots of nice days.  The boys took advantage of one to throw the football outside.

Morgan's half birthday was coming up so she got to bring a treat into school.  Taylor helped her make chocolate covered pretzel rods.

Morgan performed in the school talent show with her dance class.

She looked so adorable up there dancing to "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now". That she is.

In addition to dance, Morgan is in American Heritage Girls.  She has been enjoying her first year.  (I hear she has a super-cool leader.)

The girls have dubbed every Friday "Sister Day".  I think it is just a day to see how much mischief they can get into.  Here they are as a two headed monster in my sweatshirt!

Well, I know this was short, but hopefully you found it sweet, too!
