Birthday Party

Taylor and Grace went to a birthday party today. (It was for Taylor's classmate and Grace's neighbor.)

The party was at The Web. First, the bowled.

Then they ate pizza. Next was mini-golf.

Taylor really liked this and told me "now you know that I can play this". I think it was her first time.

After the cake and ice cream, it was time for ski ball and other arcade games.

Taylor had grandma come to school with her today. I popped in at the end to see her singing this song.

Morgan 'Talking'

Morgan has been babbling a lot lately. Here's a little video of her baby talk.

Grandma's 85th Birthday

A lot of people came for my Grandma's 85th birthday party this weekend.

It was a surprise so Taylor and Charlie were the lookouts.

She was very surprised. (Almost TOO surprised)

Taylor had fun reading with her Grandma.

Poor Jacob busted his face and then fell asleep on his mama.

Grandma loved the photo book that I made with everyone's pictures.

Then the in-laws wanted their turn.

It was a great day. It made me realize how lucky I am to have such a special and loving family.

Morgan's 6 months portraits

It's hard to believe that Morgan is 6 months old already! We went with a new photographer for her portraits and are thrilled with the results. We have the CD and copyright, so let me know which one you'd like me to print for you!

First Snow of the New Year

The kids did not have preschool today due to the snow. We had a great day at home, though. It started off pretty calm. Charlie and Taylor got along very well. Charlie even sat still long enough for Taylor to read him a story.

Then everyone got into their own activities/projects.

After naptime, I could hold the kids off no longer. It was time to venture outside.

I think I have a picture like this from every year.

This time they were very into digging in the snow and basically moving it from one place to the next.

I brought out plastic cups, frisbees and a shovel. How easy it is to make them happy.

Morgan was a good sport, but when she started screaming it was time to go inside. Taylor asked if they could have some fruit snacks 'to warm up'.
