Four Christmases

The weekend before Christmas we had FOUR Christmases! First Grandpa and Grandma from Kentucky came up to Aunt Jessica's house to exchange gifts and eat lunch.
The girls loved their new dolls that Grandma and Grandpa gave them.
Next, Grandmama came over for dinner and another gift exchange.
Charlie was excited for Charlie as he opened his present.
The next day we went to Daddy's cousin's house for some more family visiting.
Then we went to Grandma's house for lasagna dinner and more gifts!
Here's the kids with Great-Grandma.
Here they are with Grandma Reindeer.
They were tuckered out by the end of the weekend!

Siblings

The kids have had a wonderful holiday season! Taylor has been a great big sister to Charlie. They're lucky to have each other :)

Santa's house call

The four cousins were so lucky again this year to have a visit from Santa at Aunt Jessica's house. This time Mrs. Claus came, too!
Taylor was so excited (check out her videos), but Charlie was not so sure.

Grandma & Grandpa in KYc

Yesterday we took a road trip to Kentucky to see Grandma & Grandpa and all of mommy's step-brothers and their families.
It was a full house, and everyone had a wonderful time together.
Charlie went straight to Grandpa.
The girls had a great time with their new sticker books. (Grace liked showing Taylor how to do each page)
Then Charlie discovered the organ. He impressed Grandpa by naming all of the letters he saw on it.
The Barrel of Monkeys was a big hit with the boys. They liked stringing them together and then breaking them apart.
Charlie got some new books and read them with his Uncle Steve.
Cassidy and Taylor taught Grandpa how to spell their names.
Finally we managed to get all the kids on the couch for a photo.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all!! The Williams family had a great Thanksgiving feast at Aunt Jessica and Uncle Chad's house. I tried desperately to get a nice family photo like last year's:
They were good sports, but Charlie had had enough by the time we took this picture.
The kids really enjoyed their dinner. My cornbread pudding was a hit.

Next we went to Grandpa's house for some dessert. The kids loved playing on his computer, and Charlie loved running around in circles. (He did not, however, like the apple pie that Grandpa fed him. He tried to slide it under the door!)
Before bed, Taylor said she was thankful for girl time with mommy and thankful that Grandma was not in heaven so she could see her a lot.

Thanksgiving continued

Taylor had a Thanksgiving feast at preschool today. Her class was the Native Americans.
Cousin Grace was there, too. She was a pilgrim.
Taylor's Indian name is Bright Moon.
