Santa's house call

The four cousins were so lucky again this year to have a visit from Santa at Aunt Jessica's house. This time Mrs. Claus came, too!
Taylor was so excited (check out her videos), but Charlie was not so sure.

Grandma & Grandpa in KYc

Yesterday we took a road trip to Kentucky to see Grandma & Grandpa and all of mommy's step-brothers and their families.
It was a full house, and everyone had a wonderful time together.
Charlie went straight to Grandpa.
The girls had a great time with their new sticker books. (Grace liked showing Taylor how to do each page)
Then Charlie discovered the organ. He impressed Grandpa by naming all of the letters he saw on it.
The Barrel of Monkeys was a big hit with the boys. They liked stringing them together and then breaking them apart.
Charlie got some new books and read them with his Uncle Steve.
Cassidy and Taylor taught Grandpa how to spell their names.
Finally we managed to get all the kids on the couch for a photo.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all!! The Williams family had a great Thanksgiving feast at Aunt Jessica and Uncle Chad's house. I tried desperately to get a nice family photo like last year's:
They were good sports, but Charlie had had enough by the time we took this picture.
The kids really enjoyed their dinner. My cornbread pudding was a hit.

Next we went to Grandpa's house for some dessert. The kids loved playing on his computer, and Charlie loved running around in circles. (He did not, however, like the apple pie that Grandpa fed him. He tried to slide it under the door!)
Before bed, Taylor said she was thankful for girl time with mommy and thankful that Grandma was not in heaven so she could see her a lot.

Thanksgiving continued

Taylor had a Thanksgiving feast at preschool today. Her class was the Native Americans.
Cousin Grace was there, too. She was a pilgrim.
Taylor's Indian name is Bright Moon.

Happy Thanksgiving

The kids had a Thanksgiving Feast with the MOMS club yesterday.
Taylor worked really hard on her Indian headband.

Both kids have made friends with children in the group. It's adorable.
Am I a lucky mom or what?
This picture was one out of about 25 attempts, but I got it!

Happy Halloween

The kids had a great time trick-or-treating.
They rode in style using their wagon. Grandpa Mark went with us.
The first time Charlie had to get out of the wagon and knock, he tried to walk in their house!
One more house to go...
Of course his favorite part of the evening was eating candy when we got home.

Fall Festivities

The kids have had a great Halloween season! Taylor and Grace went to Ursuline's Halloween Party with their mommies. Here's them dancing.
Taylor tried to stick the hat on the witch, but she had a height disadvantage.
The kids painted pumpkins at our church last Sunday. Charlie actually did pretty well!

Taylor even went to a farm for a field trip at school. (This is her class minus two kids)
Her cousin, Grace's, class was there on the same day.

I got to tag along, too.
I also came to her school on "Crazy Hat Day" to help out. This is them going on a bear hunt.
Then she practiced riding her new bike. She's gotten really good at it!
(She decided it was easier with a tutu on)
