An Easter Story

I forgot to include these pictures yesterday and tell this story.

The day before Easter Jessica and I took the girls to an Easter egg hunt. It was at Monroe Park and there were at least 100 kids there. After blowing the horn everyone snatched up the eggs. It was over in about 60 seconds. About 10 minutes later Grace noticed a little girl who had apparently come late and was looking for some forgotten eggs. She was so concerned about her so we suggested that they 'hide' a couple of their eggs for her which they did, joyfully. Then they found a boy who didn't get any eggs and endud up giving away all of their eggs. We were so proud of them. It was very sweet and heart-warming.

Happy Easter

The Williams family had a wonderful Easter! The kids found their Easter baskets after breakfast and then it was off to church as a family. (Both kids were pretty good for the most part). After naps, we went over to Aunt Jessica's for an Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt. Charlie finally got the hang of putting the eggs in his basket, and Taylor enjoyed being able to fill hers to the brim with eggs. Overall it was a wonderful day spent with family.

Easter Preparations

Here's some pictures of the kids and their cousins getting ready for Easter.

The kids met the Easter Bunny at the mall but opted not to sit on his lap.

Today we had an Easter Egg Hunt with the MOMS club.

Taylor had fun decorating our tree out front. She kept calling it a Chrismtas tree.

A Day at the Playground

We played at the park today with the MOMS club. Taylor was very nice and helpful with her little brother.

Eventually, he got the hang of it.

Fun with Cousins

The kids enjoy their Mondays and Tuesdays together. As you can see they are starting to get more physical in their play, but no one seems to mind...

Jacob's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated cousin Jacob's 2nd birthday today. Everyone had a great time. The kids especially liked playing with the balloons and the sunglasses that were in their goody bags. Jacob loved his elmo cake and decor. It's now official. Between the four cousins, their ages are 1, 2, 3, and 4 years old.

Another Rough Day

Well, we've experienced our first trip to the emergency room. Charlie fell at his Aunt Jessica's house today and hit his head on a door hinge. After 1 trip to the pediatrician, 1 trip to the emergency room, 4 hours of waiting, and 2 stitches, Charlie is as good as new. He really was a good sport, especially since he wasn't allowed to eat the whole time!
I just couldn't believe how cute he looked in that tiny gown!

It didn't slow him down one bit!

Rough Morning

Charlie had a rough time at breakfast this morning. He kept throwing his food and saying he was all done, but he didn't want to give up his muffin.

(This is a new look he's developed that cracks me up)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day

The kids had a fun time at Aunt Jessica's house on St. Patrick's Day. It's really not a very exciting holiday for kids. I tried to capture a photo of them in their green attire and this is what I got:

(This one's not bad, but Charlie looks huge next to Taylor because she was sitting back and he was leaning forward)
