Well, the kids and I had a nice time playing in the snow today. Here's a couple of things I learned:

1. Before getting your daughter excited about making a big snowman, make sure it's good snowman-building snow.

2. If it's not, just improvise. Three-year-olds aren't that picky.

3. Be sure to bring props for mulitple snowmen. Who wants to stop at just one?

4. There's an advantage to not being potty trained when wearing tons of snow clothes.

5. Before taking your son out for his first adventure in the snow, make sure the batteries in your camera are charged.
6. A sled with a buckle comes in handy when taking a toddler in the snow.
