Snow Days

The kids have been having fun in the snow this winter. We haven't been able to make a snowman yet, but they like running around in it and riding in sleds. Taylor has also gotten very good at snowangels.
Charlie really wanted to wear sunglasses on this day. Who am I to argue?

Today we went to our cousins' house to play.
The kids really liked playing on the swing set.
You should have seen how fast they flew down the slide in their snowpants!

Okay, we're ready for Spring now...

Happy New Year!

The kids were invited to Grandma's house for a New Year's Eve party. I left my camera behind so she could capture the festivities.
After the boys went to bed, the girls made a "No Boys Allowed" sign for Grandma's room. Then the real fun began...
They played lots of games,
watched tv (a rarity at Grandmas's house), and had a late night snack.
Apparently they watched the ball drop at midnight.
And then took their noisemakers outside to spread some cheer to the neighbors.
This picture is misleading. They did not go to bed yet...
According to my camera's time, Taylor was still awake at 1:44AM!
Finally Taylor went to bed at 2:27AM. Don't ask me what they did all that time...
They were up bright and early at 7:30 the next morning!
(Both girls are napping right now trying to recuperate from a fun night at Grandma's)

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Both kids were excited to open presents at Grandma's house on the morning of Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning was so much fun. The kids took turns very well opening presents and were thrilled with their new toys.
Then it was off to Aunt Tina and Uncle Jack's house in our Christmas best.

Four Christmases

The weekend before Christmas we had FOUR Christmases! First Grandpa and Grandma from Kentucky came up to Aunt Jessica's house to exchange gifts and eat lunch.
The girls loved their new dolls that Grandma and Grandpa gave them.
Next, Grandmama came over for dinner and another gift exchange.
Charlie was excited for Charlie as he opened his present.
The next day we went to Daddy's cousin's house for some more family visiting.
Then we went to Grandma's house for lasagna dinner and more gifts!
Here's the kids with Great-Grandma.
Here they are with Grandma Reindeer.
They were tuckered out by the end of the weekend!

Siblings

The kids have had a wonderful holiday season! Taylor has been a great big sister to Charlie. They're lucky to have each other :)
