July Photos

We've heard you were in need of some new pictures, Grandpa. So here you go. Here's a quick recap of what we've been up to this month:

Our friends, Andy and Heather, were in town. Andy helped Daddy become Mr. Fix It. They even built a gate for our deck! Taylor had a lot of fun with them. She kept forgetting which one was Andy and which one was Heather.

Then Mommy and Daddy went to Myrtle Beach for a corporate meeting.

This is a new park we went to with the MOMS club.

Here's two photos Grandpa took at a graduation party.

I LOVE this picture of Taylor!

These last pictures are from Aunt Sandy's birthday party this weekend.

Dayton Art Institute

The kids and I went to the Dayton Art Institute today. They had a fun room for the kids with lots of hands-on exhibits.

These were people made out of jelly beans with butterflies that fluttered on the wall. charlie wasn't quite sure what to think of it.

(We went with a MOMS club friend, Luke)

Fourth of July 2009

The kids had a great 4th (despite the rain). They visited mommy at the festival where she had a booth in the afternoon. (We made the T-shirts with the moms club)

Here they are with their cousins.

Taylor and Grace braved the weather and rode in the parade with the MOMS club.

They did so well throwing the candy bags at everyone.

Afterwards, they were rewarded with a funnel cake!

Keepin' Cool

The kids have been having a great summer and getting wet every chance they get! Last week we went to Sharon Woods. They loved the water. (Luckily I brought extra clothes and grandma's house was nearby!)

Hey, where'd the water go?

Today we went to Pink Hills Lake in Mason. This time we were prepared with swimsuits!

Here's Charlie with one of his friends, Nolan.

Charlie was quite fond of Nolan's little sister!

Taylor loved the center pole that squirted water. (I think she was trying to drink it)

I got a kick out of seeing Charlie being one of the big boys.

My favorite part was our picnic in the shade!

Taylor and Charlie liked feeding the ducks. Check out the video of Charlie below!

Fun Day

We had a fun day today. First the kids came to the coffee shop where I'm having free music circle times to promote my classes.

I love Charlie's little pointing fingers in this photo.

Next we went to the park and then came home for lunch.

After naptime, we tried out our new swimming pool.

This is a cute video to see how the two interact
(it won't show up in an email. You'll have to come to the blogsite)
