Keepin' Cool

The kids have been having a great summer and getting wet every chance they get! Last week we went to Sharon Woods. They loved the water. (Luckily I brought extra clothes and grandma's house was nearby!)

Hey, where'd the water go?

Today we went to Pink Hills Lake in Mason. This time we were prepared with swimsuits!

Here's Charlie with one of his friends, Nolan.

Charlie was quite fond of Nolan's little sister!

Taylor loved the center pole that squirted water. (I think she was trying to drink it)

I got a kick out of seeing Charlie being one of the big boys.

My favorite part was our picnic in the shade!

Taylor and Charlie liked feeding the ducks. Check out the video of Charlie below!

Fun Day

We had a fun day today. First the kids came to the coffee shop where I'm having free music circle times to promote my classes.

I love Charlie's little pointing fingers in this photo.

Next we went to the park and then came home for lunch.

After naptime, we tried out our new swimming pool.

This is a cute video to see how the two interact
(it won't show up in an email. You'll have to come to the blogsite)

Weeee!

Charlie loves to push his big sister on her tricyle. Daddy gets a kick out of it! He shot this video:

Graduation Party

We also went to a high school graduation party this weekend in Owenton, KY for Daddy's cousin, Tyler.

The kids just can't get enough of the outdoors (especially Charlie!)

Family Weekend

Aunt Julie was in town this weekend. We enjoyed some adult time with her on Friday night.

Grandma was in heaven having all her children and grandchildren together!

(This was taken last June. What a difference a year makes!)

We got to spend special time with Great-Aunt Sandy and Great-Grandma too!

Memorial Day

The Williams Family had a great time this Memorial Day Weekend. We went to our aunt and uncle's house in Indiana. When we first got there, Charlie was so tired he actually let me rock him for about 20 minutes. Thankfully I brought his pack-n-play and he took a 2.5 hour nap!

Taylor spent a lot of special quality time with her great-aunts, grandparents and cousins.

Charlie was a new person when he woke up from his nap. He was back to his cute self and kept offering me bites of his ring pop.
The boys were so excited when the discovered the kiddie pool. We just took off their clothes and let them have at it (luckily we brought a change in clothes)

It got a little crowded when the girls tried to join them.

Next Charlie tried to play cards with Daddy.

Meanwhile, Jacob and Taylor hung out in their little chairs.

Taylor really enjoyed going into the woods with her Great-Aunt Cheryl. She came back with a dandelion necklace and a handful of flowers for mommy.

Charlie's shirt says it all.

Taylor put it best when we got home (at 10pm!) by saying "Today was wonderful"
(Thankfully both kids caught up on their rest by sleeping in until 9:45am the next day!)

Parky's Farm

The kids and I went to Parky's Farm today. Taylor went on her first pony ride. She was so brave!

She was concentrating too hard to smile.

Charlie liked the petting zoo.

Taylor liked the baby goats.

I liked the wagon ride. (I swear, I didn't mean to match my outfit with Charlie's!)

Charlie likes offering me bites of his food now. It's so cute. He says "a bite?"
