Morgan's First Birthday

The Williams family celebrated Morgan's first birthday today.
We had a Winnie the Pooh party theme.
I used the same cake pan that my mom used for her girls when we were babies.
Lots of family came to celebrate.
Grandma Brenda was so excited when Morgan let her hold her without crying for the first time!
Lot's of friends came, too.

Morgan was happy when mommy gave her her own personal cake.
She dug right in!

Morgan had fun opening her presents, too. Normally mommy doesn't let her tear up paper!
The tunnel that she got was a big hit! Thanks, Aunt Michelle and Aunt Maggie!
We took this picture of all the little girls (and some of the big girls) that were at her party.
Finally, we took Morgan's first picture with her baby cousin, Addison.

Virtual Dance Recital

The girls had their last dance class of the summer today.
They performed two dance routines that they'd been working on for their parents. Enjoy.

2nd Annual "Camping" Trip

The family got together for our second annual camping trip last weekend. We went to the natural bridge in KY (near red river gorge).
Their were 17 of us this year! My sister and her family,
my dad and stepmom,
and two of my step-brothers, Steve and Danny, with their families.
The first night we enjoyed a big cookout together.
When it got dark, it was time for s'mores and 'scary' stories around the campfire.
The next morning, I went for a walk and tried out my new camera lens around the lake.
Then it started raining. Taylor was very disappointed because she wanted to fish. Luckily, it only rained for an hour or two.
Then it was time to go fishin!
After lunch, we headed out to the Natural Bridge. We took the easy way up (although it was quite scary to some of us).
The view at the top was breath-taking!

This is what we were walking on!

That night we went to Hoedown Island, for some good old fashioned fun and dancing.

The next morning, we enjoyed each other's company until it was time to check out.

It was a great weekend!!
