Taylor's Haircut

Taylor got her haircut again. (She's becoming a pro at sitting still!) I decided to give her bangs and I think she looks so darn cute!

Say Cheese

Taylor went to the dentist for the first time today. She was a champ! She let them count her teeth, clean them, floss them and apply a flouride treatment. She was so cute in the chair. Before we went she asked "Mommy, can I hold your hand so I not be scared?" And she did:)

Just some Random Pictures

Not much new has been going on around here, but I know some of you miss seeing new pictures when I don't post for a while. The girls made puppets on Monday and put on a puppet show.
This picture is from a couple of weeks ago. The kids were playing in Daddy's big duffle bag right before he left town as if to say "take us, too!"

I took this picture just in case Charlie becomes a a doctor when he grows up.

This made me laugh. Charlie wanted to hold headphones like Taylor had in the car. Then I looked up in the mirror and we was actually wearing them! Smart little guy...

I hope everyone else is doing well. I'll try to post some more exciting pictures soon!

Happy Valentine's Day

The kids had a nice Valentine's day. Taylor went to the library for storytime. Then both kids went to Grandma's house for a sleepover. The fun's not over. The kids have a Valentine's party tomorrow with the MOMS club and Taylor will also ahve a Valentine's celebration at school this week.

Snow Day Take Two

After taking a break from the snow yesterday, we were ready to play out in the snow again. This time Aunt Jessica, Grace and Jacob came over. The girls made a snowman family and Jacob tried to pull Charlie around in the sled.

Snow Day

Well, the kids and I had a nice time playing in the snow today. Here's a couple of things I learned:

1. Before getting your daughter excited about making a big snowman, make sure it's good snowman-building snow.

2. If it's not, just improvise. Three-year-olds aren't that picky.

3. Be sure to bring props for mulitple snowmen. Who wants to stop at just one?

4. There's an advantage to not being potty trained when wearing tons of snow clothes.

5. Before taking your son out for his first adventure in the snow, make sure the batteries in your camera are charged.

6. A sled with a buckle comes in handy when taking a toddler in the snow.

Here's two videos from our adventure:

First 'Official' Haircut

I took Taylor for her first 'real' haircut today (I cut it once myself last summer). She did great and seemed to enjoy it. She really doesn't look much different, but we'll see how it looks after we wash it the first time.

Mall Concert

We went to the Dayton Mall today with Aunt Jessica, Grace and Jacob for a kids' concert. Everyone had a great time. Grace loved dancing to the music while Taylor liked listening and watching the other kids. Jacob was content to sit with his mommy while Charlie walked all over the place.

Charlie found it hard to stay still for a picture.

Here's a video of the girls during the show.

Family Update

We haven't posted anything in a while so here's our update. For those of you in Cincinnati, you know it's been bitter cold all week. So we have stayed warm by not leaving the house since Tuesday. Also, Mommy had a stomach bug and was not feeling well on Wednesday and Thursday. (Thankfully Grandmama was able to come over and help with the kids!) The kids have been entertaining themselves every way they can. Here's a picture of Charlie in his high chair. It's pretty easy to tell when he's not hungry anymore...

Charlie's not quite ready to give up his Singing Frosty for the season.

On top of everything, Daddy's been in Nashville all week. He'll be home today and I'm sure Taylor will be hugging him like in this picture.

Mommy's Little Boy

Here's the video of Charlie being silly at dinner.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! The kids enjoyed their sleepover at Grandma's while Mommy and Daddy went to a grown up party. The kids enjoyed cuddling with Daddy after letting him sleep in.

Taylor thinks her new underwear is better suited as a hat.
